3 Mindsets That You Should Know While Learning How To Play Guitar
In fact, playing guitar is like a mental game. Yes, of course. Why? First, I will explain some things. Perhaps you, your friends, or anyone not even me, when we are learning to play the guitar always meet obstacles. I would say, you will meet limitations, sure. And many other factors can take effect.
Of the many obstacles we faced in touch, we often feel frustrated, right? Or at least that is what I and my students with experience. Some of them have said, I have no talent, I’m busy, I’ve tried, but still can not play with the right, I’m not good at playing the guitar can be easier to play other instruments and blah, blah.
And when they meet these constraints, they become lazy and finally surrendered. It is unfortunate that when you learn something, but not completed, or at least not yet achieved what we wanted
There are things behind it is the basis and principle before starting to learn to play guitar or maybe just to motivate future
1. I remembered a song by Radiohead, anyone can play guitar. Of course, this is a powerful mindset. You should know that anyone can play guitar. And of course, this was tested. I have many students, and wonderful of them has a different personality. But the question is, are all talented? No. But in the end everyone can play his guitar very well. And they enjoy playing his guitar. Therefore, make a * note * in yourself that “anyone can play guitar.”
2. Why? You must have a purpose in learning to play the guitar. You are mistaken, its alright. I’ll keep it simple. Try to answer this question. Who is your favorite guitarist? Who is your favorite band? What is your favorite song? Want to play your favorite songs in front of family, friends, girlfriends, even for an concert? If you can play your favorite song, to write a song? Songs for the people you care about, or you’re going to burn and sell? Or you could combine, like me, I play guitar fans and please my life (guitar because it’s fun and additive), make songs, and I can use my teaching skills.
3. The discipline and practice. If you have a goal, of course there must be discipline. Playing guitar, besides the notion of theory, practice is required. The practice and practice. Create a calendar for the practice session, you do not have to take time off for hours every day to practice playing the guitar. It can be divided three times a day and between 10-15 minutes each session. If you have a goal then you must have discipline, because they want to be able to play the guitar fast, and get ahead.
Maybe you could add some. However, three things can help their barriers to learning to play guitar. Always remember, Can anybody play the guitar, why?, Discipline and practice when he learned of the restrictions
