2011 isn’t over yet, but it’s still possible to work out the best selling cell phones of the year so far. We’ve put together this guide to take you through some of the hottest and most popular phones of the moment, in no particular order. It has a good build quality and is easy to use. There aren’t many flashy gadgets on it but it does have some really interesting features such as a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash, music player and micro USB connector, along with good call quality and 7 hours talk time.

The first smartphone entry on our list is the Apple iPhone 4, which is a very classy device. You’ll have access to the great app store and will benefit from choice over how much internal storage you want on your phone. It represents a design overhaul for Apple and it’s definitely paid off.

The fourth entry on our list is the Nokia C5. Again, this isn’t a smartphone but it is functional and simple with a good build quality, meaning it shouldn’t let you down and is a reliable buy. It doesn’t have WiFi but it does have online capabilities including social media and YouTube video access. The large buttons are appealing and easy to use. The user interface and display are good and the phone benefits from good pixel resolution as well as features including an FM radio and GPS.

Finally, we come to the second smartphone on the list: the Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II. This is one of the best Androids on the market at the moment and it benefits from a brilliant Super AMOLED Plus screen. It has a touchscreen and a dual-core processor, both of which are great. It’s also light and features good construction and display, along with some good apps and widgets. The other features such as WiFi and GPS are also very welcome, making for a great all-round device.
