An Insight Into Success – A Quick Tip

May 10th, 2010 Blog Writer No comments

Many people reading so-called Personal Development or self improvement articles or self help books will be familiar with the concept known as the Law of Attraction – that you bring into your life the things that you want out of life. Many such articles or books tell great feel-good stories about how the whole process has worked, seemingly effortlessly, for some people – these are held up as perfect examples of people who live the dream.

But then I’d be extremely wealthy if I had a dollar for every individual who said me “Why does this damn Law of Attraction not work for me?” More often than not, the answer is staring them in the face – either they don’t know what they really want or they keep changing their goals. The normal adult is like a youngster in a sweetshop – all those goodies, so much temptation “I want some of those ones – no, can I have some of that instead!”

To achieve what you want from life requires a spot on definition of success – obviously unique to you – and, after that, being ruthlessly single-minded. I don’t mean being ruthless towards others in terms of walking over them as you climb the ladder of your dream. I mean being ruthless with your own focus in terms of mental discipline. And discipline is what is called for because the normal mind is notoriously all over the place. For a start, just think about how many times your mind has wandered today. Think about how often what you think you want out of life changes – it’s as variable as the Irish weather (if you’re Irish, I’m only joking!)

Decide on your definition of success and stick to it – single-mindedly. I’m not suggesting that you tie yourself down to “I must have this” or “I must have that” – that’s stupid, in doing that you’re ignoring all your other options. And that’s the problem – normal people think that you define success in terms of the things that you have. No – success is how you feel. Success comes from within, not from having lots of nice things. Again, don’t misunderstand what I’m saying, I’m not saying nice things are bad – nice things are, well, nice! But success is something else altogether – it’s about being carefree, what it feels like to “have it all” whatever having it all means for you in terms of feeling just perfect about yourself and your life.

You need to picture what living the dream would look like, feel like, sound like, smell like and taste like – the five sensory language that ignites your subconscious mind. You need to know what your picture of success is like – as if you have it already – without any preconditions on the actual components in terms of work, career, business or money and without any preconceived notions about how you have achieved “it all” – just give yourself the five sensory experience of what it’s like to have arrived. Because, when you do actually arrive, that’s true success.

HVMM The High Velocity Market Master Is Now Live

December 16th, 2009 Blog Writer No comments

Meet HVMM and get your free copy of the Ultimate Day Trading System that can trade stocks, forex and futures just now! Learn Candlestick Charting and know these Candlestick Patterns! Have you seen the results over the past few days?! With results like this, the holidays have come early in my opinion…I attended the High Velocity Market Master webinar yesterday and the results, the strategy, and the simplicity of the system had me intrigued. Not only were the results impressive, but I can’t get over the level of support the HVMM guys provide. They truly seem to be dedicated to your success which is vital in this business. They definitely had my attention (and I’m sure they did yours)!

Often it’s the support not just the system that will make the difference between mastering the market and dwindling your account. With all of the guidance, and the training bootcamp they’re offering, I would bet you can quickly be whipped into shape to hit the markets with everything you’ve got!

You only have a small window of opportunity to grab the system. Providing a high level of support means the guys over at the HVMM headquarters need to limit the number of new subscribers to ensure they have the resources to handle the initial batch (an intelligent decision, in my opinion). Also you still have a chance to get the bonuses! Seize this chance to start living your trading transformation story. If you had trouble ordering yesterday – try it again today. With frenzy of orders, their server had a few hiccups. Not to worry though, you still have a bit of time left:

This is what Mark Soberman says: Registration page for the High Velocity Market Master is NOW OPEN! In today’s big Release Webinar, I unveiled the signup page for the last batch of HVMM Systems this year. Tell me you got your copy! There are still some of my famous Fast Movers Bonuses available so get to the signup page now to claim the remaining goodies. In case you missed this afternoon’s Release Webinar, don’t worry – I did record it. I’m producing it as I type so sit tight and it’ll be out later today. Check with the blog because I’ll be posting it as soon as it’s uploaded.

I’m calling you out! Yes you, the procrastinator…We all do it to some extent. I get it. Believe me I know how busy this time of year is. I also know how tight the pocket book can be. Sometimes a layaway plan is just the ticket! What’s even better is a layaway plan that gives you the product upfront. So do not order the HVMM until you hear what I’ve worked out with the guys over at the HVMM camp…Instead of one larger payment upfront, how about a few more *affordable* payments spread out over the course of 3 months?

Where to Find Free Quilt Patterns

Back in the early days of American history, women made quilts with scraps of whatever fabric they had on hand, using patterns they had memorized or shared freely with each other. That trend continues today within the quilting community, and if you are in the market for free quilt patterns, you’ll find a wide variety of them available from many different sources.

Many online sites offer free quilt patterns as a way to get you to visit their site. Google “free quilt patterns” and a huge number of listings will come up. Many sites list hundreds or thousands of free quilt patterns. Among the categories of free quilt patterns you will find there are quilts for babies, traditional American quilts such as the Log Cabin, Hospitality Pineapple or Lone Star, holiday designs, designs with animals or flowers on them, and many, many more. There are even free quilt patterns for food and drink, nautical designs, or angels and butterflies. While many sites feature free quilt patterns for old traditional designs, some also offer original patterns. Some sites have lists of links that will take you to more sites full of free quilt patterns. Quilting is such a time-honored craft that many patterns have been passed around from quilter to quilter for years. It’s a good idea to look at several different sites that offer free quilt patterns as you may find one particular site’s patterns of more use to you than others. Variations in the way the free quilt patterns are written are common, and it takes only a bit of research to find a site which is compatible with your needs. You may get so engrossed in the free quilt patterns on one site that you’ll never need to go any further!

But it is a good idea to keep browsing, because while searching for free quilt patterns you will also find yourself on sites that offer all kinds of other goodies for quilters, from fabrics to notions to books to patterns to purchase. Spending time looking for free quilt patterns is actually a good way to acquaint yourself with what’s available in the world of quilting and learn more about the craft along the way. A sure way to expand your knowledge about your hobby is to become familiar with all the tools and notions that are available.

Another place to find free quilt patterns is to ask your friends, family and neighbors. Many people have learned to quilt from their grandmothers or mother and they may have written down patterns from family members. These are wonderful free quilt patterns to get your hands on! All quilters can be grateful that quilting has been a social activity-first out of need, and later for reasons of entertainment-and this has caused quilters to share not only information but patterns as well.

Browsing for free quilt patterns, whether on the internet or asking friends, is an enjoyable aspect of the hobby of quilting, one that is certain to keep you engrossed for many hours.

Planning and Organizing a Successful Yard Sale

Planning and Organizing a Successful Yard Sale

A well-organized and well-planned yard sale is more appealing and makes it easier for shoppers to see what you have for sale. After you’ve sorted through your belongings and decided what you’re going to place in your yard sale, take a moment to sit down and think through how you want to organize your items. Categorize your items, as it demonstrates your hard work and forethought in planning your sale. Keep a close eye on things throughout the course of the day, as you’ll need to resort and re-categorize your things as your items sell.

You can sort things into boxes when you’re doing your initial sorting and purging. Grocery, liquor and discount stores always have plenty of empty freight boxes, and they’re usually free for the taking. Make sure you gather several sizes to accommodate different items. As you
Take a box with you and survey your house and your belongings, place your unwanted items in the box until it’s full. Select a central location or room in your house to coordinate your sale items. Continue with this process until you’ve sorted through all your belongings in both your home and garage. Be sure to go through places like your drawers, closets, sheds, cupboards and your pantry. Don’t forget your attic or basement as well.

After you’ve gathered all your sale items, sort them into categories to group them into for your sale. This can be done either by category or price. Periodically during your sale, move items that haven’t sold to another table or re-locate them on the same table. However, don’t do this during times when you have lots of traffic. If you notice certain categories of items are not selling as well as others, you might want to adjust your prices accordingly or move them closer to the entrance to your sale so they are more visible to those who drive by to see what goodies you have to offer.

After your sale is over, don’t take the items back in your house. Contact your local rescue mission or charity thrift store and make arrangements to donate your items. Most places will be happy to arrange a pickup time to come by and haul your things away, and will give you a receipt you can use for a tax write-off.

Auto Navigation Systems are Great Tools for Geocaching

Auto Navigation Systems are Great Tools for Geocaching

Geocaching is an excellent way to maximize your use of a handheld auto navigation system. There are so many wonderful activities and events you can use your system for and geocaching is a way of combining many activities into one use or event. In addition to being a great way to get out and see the world this is a great way to work physical fitness into your fun regimen. The reason is that there is generally some degree of work involved in finding your hidden treasures.

So what exactly is geocaching? Glad you asked. This is a sport really, kind of like a fox hunt without the dogs and foxes. Seriously, it is a merry chase in search of a small token or treasure. The idea is that you take something, leave something, and make a note about it in the log. You use your GPS or handheld auto navigation system in order to find the treasure you are seeking. You find the caches and stashes by getting the coordinates from the Internet. This is a very popular pastime and you will find all kinds of spectacular prizes and goodies in the cache stash as well as phenomenal flops when it comes to prizes as well. All bets are off really, some stashers leave great goodies and others leave pranks or silly items. It is completely up to you which treasures you will leave behind (do keep in mind that this is often a family activity and keep your tokens family friendly as people of all ages enjoy the sport).

There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to geocaching and new games are created all the time to keep the fun alive and the sport much more interesting. Check the Internet for caches hidden in your area, you might be amazed at the vast number of treasures and treasure hunters that live near by. I always have a tendency to think of geocaching as my own form of treasure hunting. Not all caches are created equal but the thrill of the hunt is really what it’s all about. There have been some incredibly zany and humorous caches in addition to the wonderful stashes of actual cash. Enter into this with the idea of having a lot of fun and you might be surprised at all the wonderful gifts and goodies you find. Be sure however to always leave something behind if you take an item.

Don’t be deceived by the fact that you are using GPS or other auto navigation systems in order to find the stash, you may find yourself getting quite the orienteering workout. Not only will you need to climb, hike, or bike on occasion you may need specialized equipment such as scuba equipment or rock climbing equipment in order to reach some caches. You may even begin your own cache by finding a creative location in which to stash your trinkets and treasures and loading the coordinates to your local geocaching website. If you keep an eye on your stash you may find all manner of interesting goodies and ideas coming through.

Even if you haven’t really considered how exciting it would be to go on a real treasure hunt since you were a child, isn’t it about time you did? Geocaching is the modern day treasure hunt with a twist-rather than “X” marking the spot, you will find your way with beeps and blips.

Wine Tasting For Beginners

Wine Tasting For Beginners

Attending wine tasting events can be a great experience and a lot of fun, although a lot of people choose not to attend out of fear – or not knowing what to do or what to expect. Even though there are no mysteries to wine tasting, there are some things that you should always remember.

During a wine tasting event, women are always served before the men. Some tastings will serve you bottled water between tastings, so you can clean your mouth out and be ready to taste the next wine that is served. When you take the wine, you should always handle the glass by the stem, to avoid heating it with your hands. There will also be crackers and other goodies on hand as well, to help you cleanse your mouth between wine tastings.

As you may already know, you can tell quite a bit about the wine by the color. When you attend a wine tasting for the first time, you?ll notice that the glasses are clear. This helps you to examine the wine better. There should also be white tablecloth on the table as well, to help you see the color the wine more clearly. You should never go by the name of the wine alone, as it can easily fool you.

You?ll also notice the more experienced wine tastes swirl their wine around in the glass before they taste it. Although it may look weird, slightly swirling the wine actually helps to bring out the flavor. Most wines have been aging in bottles for long periods of time, sometimes even years. When the wine is swirled around in the glass, the swirling will release the flavors in the wine and bring them out when the wine is tasted.

At wine tastings, you?ll need to look at the wine, smell it, then after swirling it around in the glass – taste it. Smells play an integral part of the process, as you?ll get a lot more from the wine by smelling it first. Wine has quite an intriguing aroma, which helps to bring out the taste that wine is so well known for. Once you have smelled the wine, you should allow a few moments to take in the smell and think about the wine that you are smelling.

Last but not least, you?ll want to know how to properly taste the wine. Your tongue has taste buds in the front and the back, which helps to detect flavors. Wine is full of flavors, and how you taste it will make the biggest impact. When you put the wine in your mouth, you should always swish it around in your mouth for a few seconds, and allow the flavors plenty of time to dance on your palate. Once your taste buds have started to discover the wine, you can think about what you are tasting. After swallowing the wine, the aftertaste that remains in your mouth should give you even more of an idea as to the type and flavor of the wine.

Before you attend a wine tasting, you should always learn as much as you can about the many different flavors and varieties of wine. This way, you?ll have a better understanding of what you should look for in both taste and flavor. Even though you may be new to wine tasting, you should never pass up an opportunity to go. You?ll get a great experience in the world of wine tasting and get to experience wines that you may have never heard of before.
